On June 28, 2023, Clarivate Analytics released the 2022 Annual Journal Citation Report.  Horticultural Plant Journal (HPJ) received the impact factor 5.7 , which is 34% higher than the impact factor of 4.24 published in 2022, ranking No.3 among 36 SCI journals of“Horticulture”— Q1 in both Horticulture and Plant Science area.

Horticultural Plant Journal (HPJ) is an OPEN ACCESS international journal. HPJ published high-quality articles, in English, in all area of horticulture sciences. Up to 2022, 45 issues with more than 338 papers have been published. Besides the regular publication, HPJ also organized  annual special issues on hot topics，such as “Advance of Horticultural Plant Genomes”“Advance of Horticultural Plant Quality Research”, and“Abiotic Stresses in Horticultural Plants”“Advances in Cucurbitaceae research”.

Horticultural Plant Journal (HPJ) now is indexed in SCIE, Scopus, Biological Abstracts (BA) & BIOSIS Previews (BP), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), CABI Abstracts, Food Science and Technology Abstracts, CSCD, CNKI Global, CSTPCD, etc.
